Wiper on 97 Blazer Sign In

Just got my blazer back from having the fuel pump replaced. I didn't have my truck for a month. Before the truck went down the wipers worked fine. And actually, a few times I got the truck started the wipers worked fine. Of course this morning no wipers. The wiper motor is relativly new, 5 years or so. The cruise control and signals work. But the wipers and the sprayer aren't working. Any thoughts?

There was a recall at least to 96 but if you have a new motor that fault should be gone.

I don't really like how the plug to the motor fits so check that out -- the multiple wire one.

From there check fuses if it has totally quit now. If it still works once in a while it probably isn't a fuse but it is possible to need yet another wiper motor, T

Another thing to check is the delay module. It is mounted on the back of the motor. It is the plastic cover held on by 3 screws. If you pull this off, you will find a circuit board on the flip side. This is the timer module for the delay, low speed, and washer pump. If you have nothing except for high speed wipers, replace this module. About $35 aftermarket.
