When requiring alignment do I need to purchase brand new tires or performing alignment on used tires is fine. Basically, what I am trying to ask is whether performing alingment on used tires might be troublesome in some way or in the other hand it will prevent tires from more wearing. Thanx

New tires are not mandatory but evenly worn, legal, proper sized, matching tires at the correct pressure is important. If tires are worn adversely due to being way off it will effect the results. Also have the usual load in a vehicle helps - like don't get one done with a trunk full or something you don't carry all the time. I would advise getting an alignment WHEN you get new tires to maximize their life and performance, T
