The dealership says that a loose battery terminal has caused a variance in voltage that made the starter and alternator cables to melt. They want to replace all three and then find out if the starter and alternator are damaged. Expensive! Help!

They should be able to test these parts while they are still on the vehicle, even autozone can do that...free, and I'm not sure about a loose batt terminal causing that kind of damage....but a second opion I would surely get.
