Then I don't hear the noise again no matter how much I stop and go until the next time I start my engine and move. An exhaust heat shield or whatever might be nearby - even the starter itself my not be tight enough?? Because it feels like the noise is coming from behind, and it only happens the first time i start moving, its like once the exhaust starts vibrating it moves something into place.
