Hello, About 6 months back I made a u turn and hit the curb. It hit and hit the other side too, so luckily nothing happened to anyone. Unfortunately the wheels and suspension got messed. Since it is a new car and im the only driver in the family, I had no knowledge about cars. I took it to a Honda company and they replaced the tires and rim. They also said they tried flushing out the fluid from suspension. I have no idea what that means. After I took it back I noticed the car was fine, but I heard a little noise on the drivers side, which didnt really bother me. When I stop the car I hear the noise actually. After I realized when I made turns the wheel turned back slowly. I took it back and they said it will cost 1000 something to replace the steering rack. I didnt have the money, so I didnt fix it. Im use to it now and it does no harm. I plan on fixing it after few months when i have the money is it ok? Is it going to create more damage? thank you for ur response in adance Sara

Sara; As long as nothing is loose in the steering and it isn't leaking power steering fluid, you should be able to wait. I'm assuming that the dealer assured you that it was safe to drive? $1000.00 sounds a bit stiff. You might want to 'call around' and get some estimates. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to replace the rack. A lot of tire shops do front end repairs and alignments. Loren SW Washington
