I have a 97 camary that just quit on my wife while she was going down the road.my first quest was fuel pump but no.next check for spark but nope.the car just turns over but wont crank. help help thank you jay

Are you saying that you have fuel pressure and spark? You need to check fuel pressure with a guage, check for spark at the plugs, injector pulse with a noid light. If all seem ok then you probably are looking at a sensor or a jumped timing belt. Your best bet is to pull the upper timing cover off and rotate the engine so that #1 cylinder is at 0* Top Dead Center. Check to see if the camshaft timing mark is lined up with the mark on the rear timing cover. If it is the belt didn't jump. If the mark is off then timing belt replacement is needed. Steve
