How do think the battery is OK? This kind of seems like there's a cable end problem at the battery or perhaps the battery itself has shorted. You can take voltage reading on battery posts and compare that with cable ends to cable ends. Then check voltage at cable ends for volts when a helper is trying the start it and it might drop right off compared to the same test at the post directly. Try again at the opposite ends of each cable as well and I think you'll find one is failing near completely now and all ends check, cleaned or replaced. Note: Many times a jump doesn't get a good connection and isn't conclusive, T
