citroen c3, 2004, 1.4 40,000 Hi all... Do my car failed its MOT :( the reason was 'Nearside (will not adjust) headlamp aim too high. They have said i can bring the car back and for £35 they can see if they can try to adjust it, But need to take it apart and it might be broke and i need a whole new headlamp unit. ( i think they did try to adjust it during the mot) Does anyone know if i can take it somewhere to get it adjusted or should i just settle for paying them to look and then maybe have to pay out more for a new unit? First ever MOT and dont know much about cars at all.. so any advice would be helpfull.. i am on a really low budget anyway to keep the cost down?

Hmmm? This car not sold to the US where most regulars are from. Quick look it should be a whole lens unit like this one...... (no show but a whole lens w bulb in back type no doubt) Most would have a screw of some sort for up and down and left and right. If just that broke or at it's limit which it shouldn't be ever unless something is bent it could be replaced. If an ear on lens (guessing how this is done) broke off it's trouble. Maybe an auto body repair place could glue parts back that might hold if so or might need a new lens - here most are big bucks. Look for used if so on a budget. If bent an auto body repair place is the place to go for an idea of what and how plus how much money, T
