coolant bottle problem

hi everyone, i'm totally new here and 2nd to that know nothing about car and trying to use youtube video to maintain the car to save some $$$. I have a question about the car coolant tank that i need your advice, the top of the tank there's abit of crack and air could get in. Should i get it replace or I still can use it?

It depends on what part you are talking about and it would also help to know the year, make & model of the car we are talking about.... If you are talking about the coolant overflow reservoir on a car that has the radiator cap on the radiator, while having a crack isn't good and it should be replaced, it shouldn't have an adverse affect on the cooling system. If it's a remote reservoir with the rad cap on the reservoir, then not only can it leak coolant but it won't allow the system to pressurize and that could have an adverse affect.
