should my coolant fan come on when I turn on the a.c even when the car is not warmed up. 1994 chevy corsica v6 3.1?

what temp should the coolant fan come on to cool down the car and where is that if there is no numbers on my guage is it past mid way or farther. 1994 chevy corsica v6 3.1.

This question has already been answered in your other question. There is nothing wrong with your fan. It is operating exactly how it was designed to. well my fan does not come on at all even when the car is over heating well pass the middle of the guage.That is why I wanted to know when it should and it does not come on when you turn the a.c on.1994 chevy corsica v6 3.1

Get a voltmeter and check for power at the fan motor then, should be two wires one is black the other most likely gray, test the grey to see if you have voltage, if you do not know how to perform this test take it to a mechanic. GM ASEP 26 SCC Milford ASE certified in Brakes and Electrical on Thursday April 5th 2012
