The dash pad has to be lifted or removed to get to the sensor. Not all that hard to do but there are a number of hidden retainer clips and screws. Start by removing the instrument cluster trim bezel by putting the tilt wheel all the way down & shifter to the “low” position. The trim is just clipped into the face of the cluster frame. Remove left & right side dash end panels; the left side covers the fuse panel; from there you should be able to see the retaining screws; if any? Then both left & right side windshield post trims; again they’re just clipped in. Remove right side dash air outlets, this is to gain access to the retainer clips for the dash grab handle. I think you just push the retaining tabs in and pull the handle out. Now you can remove the bolts from the instrument panel to dash pad. The dash pad should now lift up & out after disconnecting the light sensor. Easy as one-two-three. LOL Dan. Canadian "EH"
