engine missing

Frown4.3 chevy missing starts fine ,new fuel filter,plugs,wires, any one think it may be injector if so is there a way to clean it instead of replacing it its very high dollar, thanks for any help

Chevy dealers have a kit to clean out the poppets on these injectors. The only thing you will need is an air compressor to use the kit. Before doing that, you should consider checking fuel pressure first.

Is it a constant miss? Or does it miss after start up and than clears up? Your question is a little vague. Could you please give a little more information please? Unless you have had it verified that the fuel delivery is at fault, some more testing or information is needed. If t isses after start up and then clears up, check the engine coolant temperature sensor. Thanks.

misses for about 10 miles of driving then clears up mostly in mornings on way to work but not in the evening

Check the coolant temperature sensor. Sounds like it is not operating properly and not allowing the proper amount of fuel on cold start up.

replaced coolant temp sen. still missing this thing is driving me crazy
