flat tire replacement

I have a 2002 Audi A6 2.7L Quattro. I just got a flat tire and the repair place said it cannot be repaired. Since it's an AWD Quattro, I've been told that it's best to keep all 4 tires the same and with the same wear. I'd like to be able to replace just the one flat tire, but they don't make the specific tire that's on the car any more so I have to get a different one. Should I suck it up and get 4 new tires, or can I get away with just replacing the one? The other 3 tires have decent tread left. I'm trying not to spend too much cash as I've recently had other financial issues to deal with.

If you’re not willing or cannot afford new tires, I would suggest used. Try and find a tire of the same overall average inflated height and you should be fine. Dan. Canadian "EH"
