ok so i have a 1991 vw passat its a 2.0 16v DOHC engine 4 door car.......I just need to know where the frost plug or plugs are located ??? anyone ?

Core plugs AKA "freeze plugs" would be all around the engine and the head. They are there for the manufacture of the cast parts and not to prevent damage if coolant anti-freeze protection is inadequate to prevent freezing. Some will rust out and cause leaks usually from running just water in systems for too long but I've seen them corrode from the outside too. If this engine did freeze and pop some or any of these there is a high chance of a cracked head or block! What happened that you need these? T
