heat indicator gauge Sign In

I gve a 1999 chevy ZR2 blazer, the temp gauge will sometims register hot for a few minutes then go back to normal. this happens at both when the vehicle is cold and has been driving for a while, could it be the vaccuum lines?

Re: heat indicator gauge Sign In

I doubt the vacuum lines could do that. The sender or the gauge itself could. If you get it to read some temp and unplug the sender and it stays in the same spot on dash I would blame the sending switch,
