You think you are making things simpler but in reality, you are making it far more complicated to make it work right. Not to mention that it is against Federal law to make a modification like that and drive it on US highways. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

No it won't work. The transmission is computer controlled and needs sensor inputs like throttle position, MAP, position sensor inputs, and vehicle speed. The ignition system is also computer controlled. Why would you convert it to carb anyway? TBI is far superior when it comes to reliability and drive-ability. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

All on same page - no. Keep it OE and TBI. 10 years older you might think of a change that would work out. EFI can handle crap fuel which is all there is much better than a carb so you are NOT making it simpler, T
