i just pulled code for coolant temp below thermostat regulating temp. what could cause this? also the heater core is bypassed due to leak. truck also stalled the other day when service engine light came on but the light has gone off now and truck is running fine.

Re: help Sign In

if i had to guess your engine temp code is for a failed thermostat, or air in the system, possibly leaking in where you bypassed the heater core.

the stalling could be from the low engine operating temp. more or less also pointing to a failed thermostat in the open position
