The first crank, my engine turned, but the second time i tried i got nothing. I have checked the alternator, battery, and starter. i have no dome lights, or any kind of power in the cab of my car. the car is a 87 olds 442. If anyone can give me some help it would be appreciated. That they were there? Jump start this thing and really check the items. This may just need charging the battery or a new one, T remi_1633 Novice Nov 20, 2007, 9:33 AM Post #3 of 5 (1279 views) Re: i have no power Sign In i had taken the alternator out and checked at a shop, then did the same thing with the battery and starter. i believe it was either the wires to the starter wasnt tight enough or the connection to the battery wasnt right. i did get it started today, after i did a couple things to it. Take a good luck at the battery end of the cables. Those don't always last too well.
