interior lighting Sign In

Greetings all. Continued Happy Holidays! I have a 79 Dodge Van that I'm customizing. It sits on my brothers lot, & I go there to play with her. The electrical seems to be fine. I have ALL lights. front, back, etc. (except the interior overheads & an additional lighter socket in the rear. Theres also a light over the sink that's out. The radio works. So does the lighter in the front half. Neither I nor my Brother know much about electrical. Any ideas where I can start to look to get inside power/lights?? (P.S. I bought it like this. It's not something I did.) Thanks for the read & any suggestions.

Clicky Clicky See if this is any helpy.AngelicAngelic If you can make sense of wiring diagrams. If it is not for your van, go to home page, create an account (its free) and enter the info for your van. Then pull up repair info. Good luck.

Thanks 2old. It was fine. Led me right to it. Thanks. There sure is a lot to know. I guess its best to check the relay & fuses first, hoping to avoid digging any further. I doubt it, but I'll try it . Thanks. sings69

Well, now that spring's approaching, I went & played with my Van. I found the electrical problem. It seems there are cut wires loose over the rear view mirror, and inside the front passanger door. Why would someone do that? (previous owner. Not me) Where do they connect to get interior lighting??
