This was sent to me via PM:

when i am driving down the road between 30 and 50 mph i have a hesitation or slight jerkyness in the ride ..its not all the time but most ....and the car one time out of 5 does not start up immetiatly like its supposed to ...can you suggest any solutions

Man that could be a tough one....I would almost want to drive it just to feel exactly where it's coming from.

I'd probably check out the basics 1st. After that see if there is any stored codes, check fuel pressure. Take a quick peek in mode $06 to see if there was any help there... I don't know the exact year or engine but maybe look thru the TSBs to make sure there wasn't any updates pertaining to the problem. On the test drive switch thru the gears to see if that makes any difference and keep an eye on the fuel trims to see if that might reveal a fuel control problem....

Being that it's a Ford I'd probably drive it 1st to feel the problem and then clean the MAF before the next test drive....
