Hello everyone...hoping someone can give me some possible solutions to look for inmy car. Ihave a 2008 mazda3 gs. Yesterday my two low beams stopped working in auto and manual. Both bulbs are only about a year old. Any ideas?

Have you inspected the bulbs to see if they are blown? Do you have a volt meter or 12 volt test lamp and know how to use them? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

I'm sure DS will be back later for more ideas. You think bulbs are good and probably right but hard to know for certain by looks alone. Duh - both at same time if noticed would suggest not. Cheap basic test light: It's really all you need for the moment to track down problem some more. Clip to ground then when point touches 12v + it will light the handle. To use backwards clip to Bat Neg. anything and handle will light with point touching power. Now test if possible the back side of the plug to the lights when they should be on looking for power for high beam request and low beam request. Another should be a constant ground for both. Maybe not but should be when lights should be on. Back probing for test not exact picture just basic idea: You can use a "T" pin if that gets there better. Always be careful not to ground out anything you touch that could be empowered. This much for a start will show if the bulbs are getting power and ground to at least know that much, T

Correct HT - thanks. OP - an LED test light of that style is still under $10 and decent. LED is infinitely LESS likely to cause any problems with sensitive circuits to be avoided anyway unless you are certain of what you are doing in any testing for other things. Like many things "When in doubt, don't" is a good rule of thumb, Tom

My question on this as there are no standard light bulbs of any sort listed for sale? Does list pig-tails to splice in. What is this set up? OP said bulbs so rolled with that? Tom (edit to add what showed, [No parts found for headlight bulb.] Then shows a part # if you bought the whole lens assembly for a bulb, WTF? #BN8P-51-0L0C.)
