this might not be the right forum but i wanted to see if the girl whos car i hit is screwing me over. i hit her left rear wheel well and left a half dollar coin size dent along with a single scratch from there halfway down the body of the car, which is a fairly new VW Jetta. She tells me the adjustment came out to costing $860. Is she full of Sh!t? I feel like even a dealership would not charge this much for a repair like that

id say shes actually on the low side. the rim alone from the dealer is probably 200 the labor rate is usually about $80/hr paint. materials. disposal fees. the body shop has to blend the panels for a nice repair. its hard to say without pics of the damage but i dont think its off the wall, i had a body shop charge me 500 just to paint a bumper. i bought the new part on my own, all they had to do was paint and install. __________________________________________________ 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2002 Ford Ranger 2004 Toyota Corolla 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1
