I have an '87 Toyota PU. lately when I stop and turn off the engine the radiator makes gurguling noises for a few minutes. Any ideas on this? Temp seems to be ok.

Check coolant level at radiator. Should be full to the top all the time. Could be boiling but you would think temp gauge would indicate that. Are you perhaps hearing the A/C equalizing pressures (if equipped) which is more like a hissing tire leak sound and mostly normal? Temp gauge even if in normal ranges should stay put when warmed up and not fluctuate much at all even if in normal ranges. That would be a clue to what to do about this, T
