rear drums hanging up Sign In

I'm having trouble with my rear passanger side drum brake hanging up.
It on a 1994 Hyundai Scoupe.
I've replaced the wheel cylinder, shoes and flexable lines on both sides.
I'm sure everything is installed properly so what else can it be.
All help is great;y appreciated.
Thanks

Try bleeding the brakes again. I would also pull the drum and take a good look inside. Make sure the equalizer bar is seated correctly and fully into the shoe guides. The shoes should return all the way back to the wheel cylinder. If all looks ok, have the drum turned at an auto parts store that does machine work or replace the drum. Also, double check the e-brake actuating rod inside the assembly to make sure it is not even slightly engaged.

Of all things it was the proportioning valve.
Never seen one go bad but...
I opened the lines at the wheel cylinders on up to the prop valve the only connection that did not releave the brake hang up was the lines into the PV. sooo if after it lets the wheels spin and before does not well logic say it's inbetween- thus the PV.
Oh well learn something new everyday.
Hope this helps some one else in the future.
John
