2009 Chrysler town and country 3.8 134,000 miles about 2 weeks ago when it was really cold out my rear power doors wouldn't open cause they were froze shut, was trying to open them from outside, they would open, but not under power, inside button wouldn't work either power lift gate wouldn't work under power either, they all work using the buttons on my key fob and the ones on the center counsel work too, I checked all the fuses under the hood and they seem fine, any help would be appreciated Dennis from wisconsin

Dennis: That "Arctic Blast" that lasted was the problem sub zero was unusual for a huge area of the US. I'm in New England, inland of Boston was close to a uniform horrid low temp coastal and inland and the problems just the cold aren't done yet. Electric motors, hydraulics exposed to that a whole day left outside almost all quit working even here wild windy -14.8F couldn't get propane to transfer for heat places ran out no shortage just can't transport it for that time. Essentially all these features you really can't use if the vehicle is exposed to that meaning not garaged out of it or you almost certainly will be breaking stuff to even try and pay for that later with endless broken junk or and I'm confused for you as you said it all works if you use the key fob for these not button on the vehicle? It's warmed up for both of us by locations. What kept working for a while was only plain mechanical stuff but your vehicle is loaded with stuff you shouldn't even try to use or something is going to go wrong just the ice will become a glue for the doors/hatches and the hydraulics or motors just don't work or doesn't sound for you totally broken rather lost power yet you said fuses for the items checked OK? How did you check them - looks alone means nothing. Chrysler (real ones) like this will run all this junk thru a body control computer that also froze and maybe sustained damage itself. IDK where to start but would recheck if you can get the whole vehicle warmed up AND dry again? I think these issues of all sorts have been broken in ways yet to be discovered and the fixes too. The duration of that is unprecedented here is or was beyond designed limits for a lot of these things. The fixes will be unique IMO for much of this stuff new to even me and used to those temps as normal just not that long, T

Got out easy. Let me guess - You got in and are bundled up (coats etc.) look like the Pillsbury Doe Boy and gloves up to your neck can't see any controls, push any buttons freezing your butt off so this happens. Glad it's nothing more and will close it out as solved, Tom
