recurring P0440 code

Nissan Sentra 1997 model AT 1.6. P0446 and P0440 recurring codes. P0446 code stopped recurring when gas cap replaced two months ago. P0440 still comes back after every 3 or 4 weeks. What is causing this and how to fix?

You probably need to smoke test the system for leaks.
