seat ibiza oil problem

seat ibiza oil problem Sign In
I have a 04 seat Ibiza the engine light a spanner sign and the word oil have came up I put 1.5 litre of oil in dip stick reads full but all the signs are still onUnsure

It may be an oil change reminder. Check your owners manual because we don't have that car here.

Same - don't have the car here so limited info. Should look like this....



Possibly a 1.2 Liter engine but not the point as much as that you needed 1.5 liters of oil was extreme and may have been dangerously too low? Don't count on the vehicle to check oil or to warn you but plain do it yourself especially since it had consumed that much check often, carry some with you too.


No clue if light is a low pressure warning (deadly bad) or a service reminder as HT suggested. Keep track of these things as it's your whole engine you are risking!
