1996 Chevrolet Camaro 3.8 Automatic 148,000 OK, i bought this car about 3 weeks ago and when i bought it it had a little trouble shifting. The problem was that when i would go i had to let off the gas to get it to shift. no matter wat the Rpm's were at i had to let go. Wat would happen is it would go to second fine. Then i would be driving and the RPM's would keep going but NO GEAR CHANGE!? So id let off the gas and around 2000-3000 RPM it would shift then go fine. THIS IS EVERY TIME. Now im at the point where i think my car is STUCK in first and wont go past 45 MOST i try to take the streets that are 25-35 but it still has problems. ill be driving down the street get to about 35 which i have to go around 3500-4500 RPM's then let off and it instantly starts to slow down(normally you can coast). So i have to rev it back up to around 3500-4500 RPM's to get it goin/stay at constant speed! I dont now wat the problem is and getin frustrated i hope i dont need an overhual or new tranny as i cant afford one. Please i need help BAD any help is greatly apreciated. Thanks in advance.
