signal light not working Sign In

I have a 1997 lesabre. The left signal light does not work unless you hold the signal
light lever down manually. I checked the bulbs and the filaments are ok. What do I
need to do to determine what needs to be fixed. Thanks

What works and what doesn't?

It works fine in that it blinks when ever you are turning right.
If you are turning left it does not blink unless you hold the
lever down tightly. If you don't hold the lever down the light
still lights up it just does not blink.

Re: signal light not working Sign In

The fact that you can manipulate the turn signal switch to make it work correctly indicates the problem is likely in the switch.
