I've got a 2002 grand prix se with almost 170,000 miles
for the past couple months its been stalling on me, lately more frequent
everytime i stop i have to put it in neutral and keep my foot on the gas
to stop it from stalling although sometimes that doesnt even work
and it still stalls, sometimes it will even stall while i'm driving.
i've replaced the idle air control valve and that seemed to help for a while it didn't stall,
just wondering if that part couldve went bad and needs replaced again?
or if anyone knows what else could be causing the problem?

i was trying to look it up online and it said it might be the Crankshaft Position Sensor also?
but a lot of people on google said the car wouldnt even start if that was the case.
my car does start up, it just stalls at low speeds or everytime i stop. so i don't know
if i should try to replace the crankshaft position sensor and see if that helps or not
