i am trying to find a way to test the a.c. relay in my saturn, can anyone help me out?

If there is a relay pack, there, more than one relay. If they look to be the same, you can swap them. I've never done this on a Saturn, but have on other GM vehicles.
There is a site at www.the12volt.com
When the site comes up, there is a link in the left column that says, relay, click on it.
Your wiring diagram on your vehicle should show you which wires to check for voltage and ground. I have tested relays with a 9 volt battery and jumper wires.
