That is sort of hard question to answer. The main thing is, what are you looking to accomplish with spacer?

I am looking to improve gas mileage, for work I travel 50 miles everyday.

Not 100% sure, but I believe spacers are for more power. Usually more power equals less fuel economy. Maybe some of the younger racers can help you.

 well the way I am thinking now is that if it really does work, it would be a real easy question to answer, and everybody would have installed one.
