The car will run fine for about ten miles, then, everytime we stop at a light, etc., it dies. It will run fine in neutral or park. When it does die, it is like a standard shift vehicle that you have let the clutch out too soon.
I have checked the transmission fluid and it is fine. Let the car sit for about ten minutes , then it runs fine again for another ten miles or less. But, it does not alwaqys do this. Sometimes it will run for days without any problem.
Please help.

This should have a locking torque converter and there's a switch "TCC" ?? for it that might be bad or the clutch in the converter itself,

Unplug the TCC wiring and drive it to see if it helps. I think it is a gray plug with about 4 wires. Right Dan?
