1997 MITSCHIBISHI, ECLIPSE, V4 ENGINE, 142000 MILAGE. REPLACED RADIATOR FROM OUT OF OTHER ECLIPSE. NOW UPPER RADIATOR HOSE IS SWOLLEN AND SPITTING OUT PINK STUFF. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

The likely problem: Bet this radiator is also used to cool transmission fluid and the the tank is ruptured inside radiator end tank. ATF or any oil would swell cooling system hoses - all of them eventually! May make foam and not cool properly. If not oil (ATF) and anti-freeze is pink to start with then hose is no good anyway but since you needed a radiator it may be barfing up coolant with a head gasket issue. Neither are any fun. Hoses if contaminated will ALL have to go and new pressure cap as well - that after you solve that problem with contamination and a good flushing out, T
