I have a 2002 chrysler town and country minivan 3.3lL was overheating I knew I had a leak in the radiator but was just keeping the radiator full at all times, I decided one day to add coolent to the radiator since it is starting to get colder out, after filling I was watching the water and there was no movement so thought i should check the thermostat at this point i will add the car had been running just fine, I then removed the thermostat and noticed the tank the thermostat sits in was dry i replaced the thermostat but when i started the van the top hose stayed flexible and no water was moving.. also adding that the thermostat was so bad it was rusted.. after i started the van and saw the hose still flexible i turned the van off and later tried to start and wont start only clicks... any help would be appreciated thanks.. hope this is enough information
