So I bought a decently clean 06 buick lescrosse today, and didn't quite notice until taking it onto a very freshly paved road today that i have quite a bit of wobble in the front end. Just left to right anywhere from 20 to 40 mph, and only while accelerating. Seems to be worse the more i push the car to go. I checked the tires and they are in great shape. I also jacked the front end up and checked to see if the wheels were loose at all and the seemed just fine. I don't hear any rattling while driving. I just want an idea as to what could cause the wobble during accel and not while coasting or at speed. Would really like some advice before i dump too much into this car. Thanks in advance!

Check all front end steering and suspension parts, tires, wheels, mounts and rack. Mark and rotate tires unless something obvious found and try that run again with same conditions.
Other: What are your "D" choices? I ask at those speeds trans may be right on the line of when to lock for higher speed driving should have a choice to switch to a second type of "D" (drive) choice and use that more for 40 and under MPH is and was the intention for that,

Already looked over and moved around basically every suspension component to the front wheels. Nothing loose, rattling or dry rotted. Like I stated the tires are fine. It doesn't seem to matter which gear the vehicle is in, whether its in 2nd up to 4th, the wobble is persistent and is reflected through how much I floor it. The more gas I give it, the harder the wobble. Its just strange that it only happens while accelerating, not while coasting at all and very little vibration at highway speeds. It doesn't effect the steering either and it's coming from the front.
It is fwd, so i'm wondering if a cv axle could be the culprit and causing this issue. Anyone else who's had the same issue can maybe enlighten me on the matter would be great.

You have a bad tire. One of them has a belt separation.
Disable traction control first. Jack up the front end and carefully run the car in drive while looking straight at the front of the tire and I expect you will see one with a big distortion.

Nope, did it today and checked for it and the tires are in good shape. I've had bought old tires that were dry rotted to hell in the past and know bad they can shake the vehicle. But usually they shake whether I'm coasting or hitting the gas. This is only while I'm accelerating and not at a steady speed or coasting. Maybe I'll try while I have someone sit in the car and accelerate while I look at them that way and see if it's apparent then. I only had the car in gear, so it may not have been enough to make it show.
Any other ideas, I'll be happy to take advice. Thanks!

Oof, yeah I was kind of thinking that. Either that or the axle itself may be bent? I'm used to rear wheel drive vehicles, and this is actually the newest car I've ever owned to this point. Tomorrow morning I will be diving back under the car, and take a look, hopefully before I get baked. I'll post an update on whether or not it may be that. Any suggestions on what to look for?

There is no way to visually see this problem. I'm afraid your only way to find it is to actually change the axle.
