Hi we have a 1996 Chevy Tahoe V8 4WD and the air bag light is on in the dash. It will not pass inspection. We found 2 disconnected (appeared to have been previously repaired as there was tape on the ends) Only thing is I cannot locate a place to reconnect them. Do you think they are related to the Air Bag and if so where do they connect? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Tom

Air bag connectors are YELLOW in color. I have seen many times unused connectors taped up. Manufacturers tend to use the same harnesses for many different vehicles to save money. Any unused connectors for a specific vehicle are taped up at the factory. Your best bet is to have the codes read and post them here. Most often on these vehicles I tend to see the clockspring as the failure. Steve
