I drive a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero and cannot get it to start. It has gas, the fuel pump works and kicks in and out, its getting spark and all my fuses are good and getting current. What i'm not getting is gas, I opened the cap on the side of my block and tried bleeding gas through there and as i turned the ignition to ON and turned the car over no gas bleed through as my brother depressed the presure pin. and i know it should have been spraying out if i was getting gas. Any ideas of why i'm not getting gas through the lines? I'm thinking maybe fuel filter but i don't think i can check that myself without sending to a shop. o and its not winter so the lines aren't froze. Also the engine is a 3.4L, 6 cyclinder

You should replace the fuel filter just because and rule that out. No fuel at the rail and you hear the pump working! Pressure test would help too, T
