the other day I stop to help a friend Left the van running with the AC on for 15-20 min unknown to me the van started to run hot and the freon spay out the bottom, what happen did it do damage or will jusr need a charge ? I am going to take it to someone but like to know what I looking at Thanks 02 Kia sedona 3.5 176,000

Running hot doesn't make Freon spray out but if the cooling fan wasn't working, it would not only cause overheating but cause the AC pressure to go sky high and come out the pressure relief valve.
You need to have the fan tested and once that is repair, have the AC evacuated and recharged and cross your fingers that the extreme high pressure didn't permanently damage the compressor.
