My 1994 Toyota pick-up, 4 cylinder, 170,000 miles, is over heating and the a/c heater is not blowing hot air. When i drive over 50 mph the temperature lowers but is still high and the heater begins to work. I was having the same problem a couple mouths ago and thought it was a lose radiator cap, i put a new one and the problem stopped, but now its happening again.

Check the coolant level in the radiator with the engine cold. If the level is low, pressure test the system and look for external coolant leaks. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
