2000Dodge AC problems

HI I have a 2000 Dodge Stratus, 2.5 with 127K miles. The ac worked when I bought it used, then quit after about three months...took it to the place I bought it from and they put more freon in...only lasted a couple of days so they put leak dectector in and said the valve was leaking. Took it to ac repair shop and asked that they just replace the valve. Took it back to the dealer and they put more freon in, it worked for only one day this time. The dealer is doing the recharging for free, that's the reason we only had the valve replaced by the ac pros. What could be the problem? I'm thinking someplace else is leaking and the dealer's mechanic missed it? I really do not know much about cars and don't know anyone that does so I really appreciate the help. THANKS!!

You really need to have someone more knowledgeable look at it. These guys are not finding the real leak and continually running it low is going to damage the compressor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
