Hi guys, I'm now to the forum and hoping I can get some help. My compressor clutch is not engaging but when I wire 12 volts to it, it clicks. I checked static low side pressure and it was around 90 psi which i believe is fine. My ambient air temp sensor is okay too, it reads normal on my instrument cluster. Aux fan does not go on when A/C "snow flake" button is pressed but it does when engine has been running long and very hot.
All fuses inside and underneath the dash are good too. I resistance tested them with a DMM.
I think the problem is the climate control module in the car. All the buttons seem to work, lights and LED screen also go on, but when I press the AC "Snow flake" button aside from the Aux fan not turning on, my RPm's don't go up. I know it is supposed to in order for it compensate for engine load.

IS it possible that climate control unit is bad despite all buttons, screen, and lights working? the blower fan is fine, and when i switch to get air on the feet area on towards the windshield, it works too.

There are numerous inputs to the Control Module, any one of which can cause the system to shut down.

Here are the diagrams you will need.

You're probably going to need to get hold of a enhanced scan tool that can access the HVAC control module to look at data pids to see if the mag clutch is being inhibited. With that information, you might get direction for testing.

Thanks. I wish it was a bit clearer. I'll just probably have it diagnosed at a shop with the right tools and do the repair myself when they find it. Wish I had a better scan tool and a all data
