Okay...not sure my last post went through, so I'm trying this again. I'm a non- car junky with a stinky AC issue. I purchased my 96 grand cherokee 3 years ago, and since, the AC has smelled like horse manure. Now, the heat doesn't. Anyone have any ideas why? Sick of stinking AC! JTMCB

It's a nasty job to remove the whole air box to clean it out so I suggest using lots of Lysol type product down vents at wipers when asking form "norm" air or up from passenger's floor on Max air to kill the mold in there. That can be from pollen, small leaves etc or even a small rodent can screw things up like that. A/C makes moisture which is normal but the stench is not, T
