I thought my condenser was plugged since it didn't seem to accept the can of aerosol flush. However it blew out with compressed air the same as the old condenser with the leak and that worked fine. I blew out the flushing fluid until no more liquid vapor came out. I installed new orifice line and accumulator and the ac works the same since I put the new condenser on. Here is a video with 12oz of R134a, capacity is 20oz. By the way the orifice screen was not plugged and all lines and evaporator all blew out with compressed air with no resistance either. I applied a vacuum for 1 hour before filling with the 1 12 oz can of R134a. Why are the pressures "locked" after 2 compressor cycles? This is how it has been functioning now.

Not much question you have a blockage there somewhere. It could be a line ruptured or a restriction elsewhere in the system but something is blocked.

Make sure you removed the shipping caps from the new condenser.

So here's the conclusion. I opened up the fittings on the condenser and the high pressure still read 150 PSI. I had put rubber stoppers in these fittings while I replaced the condenser and put a vacuum on the system. One stopper got sucked into the fitting and lodged about 1 inch from the end and I didn't even realize it. I'm a dumbass.

We all do that kind of stuff. At least you were able to solve your mystery and you weren't too proud to admit your mistake.

I don't know why on earth you would vacuum a system that isn't even put together yet. You have to open it again and the vacuum was useless.

At least you got it resolved.

Question closed now to keep the spammers out.
