I have a 98 Pontiac grand prix GT with a 3.8L in it... the problem I have is my heater was working fine, then one day I got in it and started the car now its like the 5th speed in the car is blowing air like I have it on speed 2 so I checked the vacume line down by the blower thinking it might have a leak but it doesn't and it is very cold here and with hardly any heat in my car it sucks!!! the car does warm up nice and good just seems like no pressure to push the heat through the car... so I was wondering if you guys would know where to start with this problem

Weather and cold on a lot of peoples mind and in their face right now. Is precipitation involved? If this car was snowed in bad or even rain that froze just so and NOT fully warmed up as in a heated garage the cowl where air comes in could still be holding ice or snow limiting air flow? Usually just a full warm up and longer drive would take care of that alone but some places are exceptional and you MAY not have a real problem just yet.

Low blower output on highest request isn't real common to me unless maybe the motor is weak or debris in the blower wheel or a chance it can't direct full air flow properly so volume is blocked.

For just this time period and strange weather if any of that might apply to you try to warm whole vehicle up first and see if problem still exists,
