A/C dash vents not working 1990 olds Sign In

We recently had a fuel pressure regulator failure on a 1990 olds cutlass supreme 3.1L, fuel was oushed into the intake system on the car. After replacement, the check engine light threw a code of 33 which is the MAP sensor. We found a break in some very brittle and small (5/32") vacuum tubing near the Sensor . We repaired and this cleared the code but now the A/C isn't working on the dash vents. It blows the air to the defrost registers and floor only. Is this a vacuum operated system?? and where are the vacuum lines to the a/C vents on the car . I can't seem to locate them (it). Thanks in advance.

You still have a vacuum line problem.

Look under the hood for a small black plastic hose coming through the firewall. Follow it to the vacuum source looking for any breaks, cracks or leaks. Also follow any other lines that branch off because they may go to a vacuum reservoir (storage tank) and a leak there will cause the same problem. Using a vacuum gauge to determine if you have full vacuum at any given point is the best way to find it. You can cut into the line anywhere and splice it back together with a piece of vacuum hose. Find the broken line, you found your problem.
