I replaced all the parts in my ac system, mechanic just blew out freon into atmosphere and replaced all the parts and added freon. It blows cool but not chilly like it should. Took it to the dealer they said 60 on the low and 160 on the high. All the advisor told me is to replace compressor and add more freon. 1500. I asked her and all she said is my nissan certified tech said this. I wonder if I vacuum it if that would make it better. I have been dealing with it the exact same way since spring 2015.....So after 3 years kinda getting tired of sweating in my car and having to park in the shade to keep car cooler before starting. IDK, generally would vac it all out, check for leaks first and fill to the exact spec then pressures really mean something. Problem is you've left it part working despite not very cold noticed at all can't be good for the compressor but almost can't do just a compressor have to consider at least downstream parts is why the guestimate is that high and might go higher. Waiting didn't help make this a simpler fix the real problems IMO remain unknown still, T
