I have a 2001 Honda CRV with 98000 kms on it and recently the expansion tank has been consistently low or empty, even after refilling it, however the engine doesn't overheat at all. I checked the radiator and I could feel coolant (it felt oily) on the underside of the radiator and there were whitish deposits around the radiator. Therefore I suspect the radiator is the cause of the coolant loss. So what do you guys suggest me to do; replace the radiator or...? Pictures of leaks: (Taken from the top and bottom) http://imgur.com/EaqW6dv http://imgur.com/xPuxZIr http://imgur.com/5UcjbsQ http://imgur.com/IQrBqD2 http://imgur.com/UvZMpoe http://imgur.com/qcEqoyC Your help/suggestions are greatly appreciated. P.s Upper/Lower hoses, pressure cap, AT cooling lines, expansion tank have also been checked. They seem to be in good condition.

I didn't have to look past the first picture. The radiator tank is cracked. You need a new radiator. There are no decisions here. It also looks like you have been adding water instead of coolant and that will prove to be a fatal error for your cooling system. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
