Heater Blower problem Sign In

Hi again- I have a '94 Ford F250 which when I have the heat on only works on high speed. There is nothing at the low and medium speeds. I was told by a mechanic that I need a new switch. Any ideas on where it is located and how do I fix this problem? Thanks all

The switch is probably not the problem. there is a blower resistor that is bolted into the plenum. When the resistor fails, it defaults to high only. Fairly common failure also.

Should be out under the hood on the passenger side near the firewall. it is held on with two 5/16 head screws. There is a large wiring connector on it.
