Nissan note 2011 petrol blower fan won't turn off Sign In

Hi all I have a nissan Nissan note 2011 petrol just before Christmas months ago the heater blower stopped working .I managed to change the resistor.but it still would not work so I left it and bought a portable heater to plug in the cigarette lighter.i had it serviced last week and they said they changed the pollen filter .the heater still didn't work
But yesterday I was driving the car and all of the sudden the heater blower started to work when I looked at the switch it wasn't turned on.i can control the hot and cold but can't control the speed or turn it off
Its blowing constant .foes anyone have any ideas what it could be and also how to STOP it .could I have bought the wrong resistor ?

? This long for an incorrect resistor to act up without touching it? Doubt that, rather what was touched, bumped or something to change cabin air filter just recently.
Some controls are adding ground to make an item work not power use of a cig lighter for a heater is possibly over limits of that circuit IDK probably stressed out wiring should have blown a fuse.

What "service" did this just have done? That was the last time it was worked on seem like some shopping list of things were checked and done perhaps take it back or clarify this list of "services" just what it entailed for clues,

The service was last week everything was normal then this week the blower motor started to work .in the service they did the usuall oil filter coolant top
up plugs just the normal they didn't touch the heater.

Exact car isn't sold to US as you know so limits for info. This should still have a relay/fuse box, probably one inside and one under-hood. Find which one(s) are for blower motor.
Relays have moving parts inside can stick or fail to make contact inside sealed things like that. If you locate it (owner's manual) should tell you which one just tap on it see if it quits this.

If it quits this relay or connections there need checking out. If no reaction that's inconclusive but I'd take it out when blower stays on when it shouldn't it may not make it quit?
That suggests wires that are pinched, rubbing or something?
That's my best guess it happened without provocation after all these months of not working nor fixed back when was now some time ago.
I'm just going on a mystery hunt of ideas of what happened when frequently a new problem can be caused by the last time it was messed with which was that service YOU or that place go back and look what might have been disturbed particularly that cabin air filter?

Was what you replaced actually a mechanical resister with coils or was it an electronic speed controller with an internal module?

The difference would be whether the system is auto temp control or manual.
